Bartenders aren't tipped over there? You must have a much smaller percentage of smoking hot women tending bar over there. At least your beer's better.

Ah, it's more common for someone to say "and one for yourself" at the end of placing a bar order, which is just included in the cost of the bill, so the bar staff get bought drinks, rather than the cash.

But since we can't drink on shift, most bar staff keep the receipts with the drink on it and redeem them when drinking there at a later date. Not unusual for our lot to go a whole night "paying" with receipts that other people have bought them... especially the hot women ;)

Speaking of tipping, tell me I'm not the only person who daydreams about this:
If I ever win the lottery, I will go to one of my few favorite restaurants, the ones that never let me down with a good meal and excellent service.
I'll have a nice, modest meal - nothing too fancy, just something good.

Then I will thank the waitress and leave behind a $10,000 tip.
Neither a creeper nor a jackass be; if you manage these two things, everything else should work itself out.

That's an interesting idea, Merle. I'd probably go someplace where the entire wait staff customarily split the tips, though, so that a fight won't break out.

Also you'd have to figure out some way to make it obvious that it was a tip, and not "very rich customer just forgot a stack of cash he was carrying for whatever reason".

Sticky note: "Tip."
When you're rife with devastation
There's a simple explanation:
You're a toymaker's creation
Trapped inside a crystal ball

Quoth the Raven, "Swag galore."

Being a billionaire would be awesome if it meant you got to do stuff like that.

I wonder how many billionaires do? At least some of them can claim to be philanthropists.

Bah, you could get to do stuff like that if you really wanted to, it just involves more sacrifices. Although most billionaires* also made sacrifices** to be ones, so there.

*Or their ancestors. Or their (or their ancestors') lovers. Family/clan/dynasty makes mankind ever the better off.

**Or took risks. If they did, they probably risked (in order of... erm... first to last) death, imprisonment, ridicule or inconvneience.
