That's absolutely true, but there may be some good reason behind that.
She obviously spends quite a bit of time caring for her appearance and health - we've seen her in the gym, after all - and she does follow a strict code as far as diet goes. Medical conditions aside, if someone is an unkempt Doritobeast it's because they don't take the time or effort to make sure that they are cute.

Max's free pass is in part due to her obvious commitment to showing that she is a fit and hygienic person, which (oddly enough, given her decision not to reproduce) hits some fairly strong programmed-in switches in the human mind.

I think there is also the good reason that her appearance alleviates fears that she is a physical menace to those she interacts with. A well-kept 300-pound bodybuilder would also be less endearing acting the way she does.

We're not talking about intellectual assessments, we're talking about gut reactions. A four-foot-eleven elfin sprite making sexual offers does not appear able to force anyone who refuses her to have sex anyway - therefore, the fact that she violates social norms in her making of that offer does not significantly raise the probability that she will violate social norms in accepting refusals of her offer. The fact that she wouldn't force herself on anyone even if she were six-foot-eleven and built like the proverbial brick outhouse isn't something that a stranger would be able to tell.
