My avatar is...uhh...*checks* Okay!

My avatar is cropped from a drawing my clone did a long time ago, of me and Zaphod Beeblebrox(book) wearing outfits belonging to Zaphod Beeblebrox(movie). I can't find the original, on my computer or online, which is making me sad, though I can find the avatar I cropped of Zaph: http://l-userpic.livejournal.com/46147865/10252648

(As to "why Zaphod?", well, said clone and I were very _very_ seriously into Hitchhikers for most of our high-school years. Like, carry towels around and keep an eye out for Vogon destroyers, yes really. I was Zaphodic and he was Fordlike, and it all worked very very well in a silly fannish way.)

My username is a bastardization of "Sorceress". I started using Sorceress in...before I got the internet, so probably '01 or '02? The change came about both from my really liking the nickname "Sorcy" and from "Sorceress" being taken on virtually every website ever. I've been pretty much the only Sorcyress on the internet since mid-2005 or so. It makes it pretty easy to find me, which I like, except when I consider that eventually I will have high school students googling me, and that will be terrible.

Ha, my situation is pretty much the exact reverse. Apparently Woocks are all over the place, so I'm surprised to see even one hit relating to me on the first page of google results. Then again, that one hit is most likely a result of google's geographical bias. If it has this avatar and/or is a Polish page though, then it's most likely me, so I'm not exactly untraceable either I guess.

my avatar is a modded sprite from one of the Fire Emblem games that I made a few years ago with a friend. It's kinda supposed to represent me, or at least a me that appeared in my friend's stories (he always put his friends in his stories) who was uber powered and ran around with two swords, and just as many personalities... so not really me in the slightest :D

Godric is actually my nickname I sometimes use in real life, which came from a creative friend of mine during the start of the Harry Potter hype. Seeing as my name Griff could easily be lengthened to Gryffindor (is that how you spell it? I can't remember), he went one step further and started calling me Godric. It sounded better than the alternative, and so it eventually stuck and I now use it everywhere.

I think I was chilling with Tailsteak one day and asked him to make me an avatar for Twitter. He did, I carried it over to here.

The name come from my email account naturally. I started out as a lover of the concept of Chaos. I loved the Chaos army from Warhammer, I loved the Chaos theory, I loved probability. Chaos was (obviously) taken on hotmail, so I named myself Chaos9876, then a few years down the road, I took Chaos_Descending as my name. (I kinda hated random sting of numbers at the end of my name. I wanted to be more original)

My name is unoriginality incarnate. My name is Alexander [which I recently decided I prefer go figure] and Starkiller was my favourite character at the time. I place him high on my list, and is second [that I can think of] in badassitude, right behind Commander Shepard.

My avatar is the glyph/letter Aon from one of my favourite writer's books, Elantris. It is the most iconic non-spoiler image that can be sized down and still reasonably identified from the entire Brandon Sanderson bibliography in my opinion.

(Yes, I commited necromancy on purpose. This thread is interesting.)

Oh geez. I hope I didn't have an avatar at the time, because I said what my NAME meant, not my avatar. Gosh I feel like a noob. My avatar is nyancat. ...That didn't help.

My avatar is an image I commissioned from an artist when she was doing a series of icons based around a particular stylistic theme. I gave her keywords, this was the response. The keywords were "Revolver" and "Skull".

This particular version is actually not the version she sent me; that one is all glowy and antialiased with some pretty colors. This is a basic version a friend more artistically-inclined than I whipped up.

It's an image I want tattooed on either shoulder at some point in my life, and I'm going to be commissioning more images within this style from the artist down the road, so as to create a full suite that will cover my shoulders, arms, and back.
