Why did I make this edit?

I wish I had something more inciteful to add to this thread.

...I'm putting that in the fanart gallery. You have something I should link back to?

Not unless you want to link back to my Photobucket page, and there's not much there.

However, since it's going to be in a fanart gallery, I've updated the image with tidied up pixels and slightly less jpeg compression. You'll probably want to use that one. I'm honoured you like it.

There we go, it's up.

I love fanart of all sorts! In fact, I've mentioned this on my Twitter, I'll mention it here as well - I have pledged that if anyone with a webcomic draws any of my characters naked, I will return the favour.

Halliganiv. That seems to imply it was the police leaking it to the newspapers.

See, this is why you give the mugger your wallet, Jamie.

I won't lie, I am tempted and curious about this offer...

On the bright side, this shouldn't hurt his future employment opportunities as long as he doesn't ask the newspaper to correct his name.

If anyone Googles "Benjamin Halligan", they certainly won't get any hits about him mugging anyone. So as long as he leaves out the number on the end of his name, the only thing he has to worry about is facing his coworkers on Monday.
... in accordance with the prophecy.

I dunno. Google's getting smarter, and if Google in the LS universe is anything like real-world Google, it will probably spot the spelling mistake. Case in point: a real-world Google search for 'Benjamin Halliganiv' redirects to 'Benjamin Halligan'.

It doesn't even care where the spaces are. I got almost the same results by searching 'tail steak', 'ta ils te ak' and 't a i l s t e a k'.

Unrelated: there actually is a real world person called Benjamin Halligan, who shortens it to Jamie. I guess I shouldn't be surprised by this, but I am. Actually there are real world namesakes for about half of the Leftover Soup characters. I really shouldn't be surprised by this.

My rule of thumb in the creation of fictional characters is that I don't use the name of anyone who appears to have achieved notoriety.

I freely admit, I didn't Google my character's names until long after they were established.
